Paul Harrington

My name is Mr Harrington and I’ve been at Carden for 15 years working mostly as a class teacher in Y5 and Y6 and since 2019 teaching French to KS2 classes. Since 2016 I have been one of the Assistant Heads at Carden responsible for the curriculum. In my spare time I love to swim, run and cycle.

I also like to paint and have over 100 plants – my home looks like a jungle! I love being outdoors: reading all sorts of books and watching films – some in different languages. Travel is a passion and my favourite places in the world are Rome (I love ancient history) and New Zealand (I studied geography at university and NZ is full of mountains, glaciers, fjords and amazing wildlife). My favourite colour is purple and I love pasta and chocolate but not together!
