Paul Harrington

My name is Paul Harrington and I’ve been at Carden for 18 years. I started as a supply teacher in Y5 and instantly fell in love with the school and the community. I have taught across across key stage 2, been phase leader, assistant head and now deputy head. In my spare time I love to swim, run and cycle.

I also like to paint and have over 100 plants – my home looks like a jungle! I love being outdoors: reading all sorts of books and watching films – some in different languages. Travel is a passion and my favourite places in the world are Rome (I love ancient history) and New Zealand (I studied geography at university and NZ is full of mountains, glaciers, fjords and amazing wildlife). My favourite colour is purple and I love pasta and chocolate but not together!
