October half-term 2022
What a fabulous half term it has been. Classes are really bonding as a team and are
working hard to achieve their learning. This is shown by the marble treats we have
seen and the great work going on around school. There have already been some great
trips happening out of school and some role play days in school. Please remember it is
important for children to have a strong attendance at school. It allows children to
follow through with their learning and not miss out on socialising opportunities. Well
done to all those families over 95%.
We have elected our school council; this consists of two children from each class and I
will meet them every half term and update you on our meetings. Reception will join us in the
summer term.
Congratulations to all the children in Key Stage two who completed their homework
and were entered into the raffle ticket draw. The lucky winners will be attending a hot
chocolate and biscuit party with Mrs Sibley.
As well as school council we have also elected some students in Year Six to be Carden
School Ambassadors and undertake several roles across the school. We will focus on
using one group of ambassadors a half term and reviewing in the summer.
Please remember the Carden School Halloween map starts in half term on Wednesday
26th.
I wish you all an enjoyable and restful break and look forward to seeing you on the
31st October.
